need to join together bits of 30mm worktop - I know biscuits would be best - but not available - will screw and drill - what is best adhesive to use?

These are often used for butt joints, Tony..............

Polyurethane wood glue is the favourite these days. You need to dig out recesses for the clamps to go into.

The Builder - do not have enough room to route them in - only extending witdth by 3 or 4 " = but will use sash cramps - if i can scrounge some - poly seems the way to go
Only 3 or 4 inches? Just glue and sash clamps then definitely

The Builder - got hold some evo stick poly - cadged the sash cramps - will give it a go in the morning - thanks for advice

The Builder - nothing against you but evo - stick poly I bought had already gone off - problem was that I had wetted joints before I cut nozzle. Think there might be a problem with shelf life with this product??? Ended using grip fill - lol
