I got a lovely CD player for my birthday. It's years since I put in a car stereo. Does anyone know the easy way to remove the factory fit stereo from my 2000, W reg, 1.8 Passat Estate?

Leave car in a dodgy area with the door open overnight. In the morning the stereo will have gone and no damage to the window.

Yeah thanks a bunch Happyboy. This used to be a place to get some help now it's nine tenths idiots showing off. Just so as you know, I went to the library, remember them, and looked in a 'book'.
