Intermittent starting problem with Ford Escort 1994 1.6 Petrol. Turning the key yields a "click" but the starter does not turn. I think this may be linked to the immobiliser, as SOMETIMES locking/unlocking the door leads to the car starting (not always). Any ideas? If it is in fatc the immobiliser, can it be easily deactivated?
