Indicator light malfunction

This little symbol should go off after the initial turning on of the engine but it does not. The manual says iof on there is a malfunction with the indicators but have not found this to be the case. Do I leave it and hope that it goes off eventually or is there something serious

How do you know there isn't a fault?
Put on your hazards & check by looking around the car if ALL the indicators are working including the ones on the side of your car.

I do not know there is not a fault but all indicators are working so what is my next move?

It is a sType Jaguar 2001
Has this fault just occured? have you changed any Indicator bulbs & are they the right type?

have not done anything to the indicators. Only thing is that it live outside in the sub-zero temps of the winter.
try not reversing so infrequently perhaps
