If you checked/changed the battery, it is most likely a dealer job. Nothing I know of as a trick to get working.

I HAVE DONE THE BATTERY THING AND THE BATS ARE GOOD ON BOTH

Did both fobs stop working at the same time, if so it is likely the car. If both stopped working at different times then it is likeily to be the fobs. Sometimes the buttons on the fobs get dirt under them where they contact the transmitter circuit board.Have you checked the fuse that supplies the central locking?

yes to all. it is the car and very common.
i have dissconnected the bat for 10 mins,fuses,bat changes but.nowt
The weirdest thing is that i was about to sell her and was checking out similar motor being sold,but lots of them saying there central locking did not work! I ,selling my car with good central locking was very happy and slightly smug to the fact mine works. then the very next morning i went to my car to goto workas allways. it did not work at all. both fobs ,,noothing.lol that is true irony.
