Update on air con not working!
Hey all,
I posted before about the air con in my Megane not working, and thought I would update you on the saga!
I had found out from my ex that it should still be under warranty, so phoned up and had 3 days left on it! They said as I had called before it expired, they would cover it. Phoned the garage who then spoke to the warranty company and confirmed they would cover getting the Fusebox relay module and the cost of replacing it.
Yesterday the women from the garage called me and said that when she had phoned up to order the part, Renault had told her there was a recall on my car outstanding for the air con. So I clled them and took it in this morning, to be told there has not been a recall on my car at all! Arrggggghhh!
Left it with Renault to look at, he called after a few hours and said that it was good news as it was a problem with the wiring... and even though my Renault warranty ran out August last year they would still fix it for me for free :-)
This afternoon I picked up my car, paid nothing at all and drove home freezing cold with the air con on full just because I could!!
