vauxhall vectra just put new pads on front but when you turn wheel to right it makes a rubbing sound and its only a slight turn at that

So long as pistons in calipers were not semi-seized and re-assembly was correct, and you have shims in correct place, run the pads in.
All should be ok.
Only thing other than above that can cuas a rub is a worn (slack) front wheel bearing.
When you typed your question was there a question details box to fill in? I'm trying to work out why so many questions are crammed into the title box. The AB Ed isn't aware of a technical problem so if there is one it would be helpful if you could let us/him know. Thanks
