Are cars sold at auction sold for less than book price. If so, buy at auction then sell the car to webuyanycar.com. If you've any spare cash it could be a nice little earner.

if it was that easy we would all be at it, bying at auction isnt always the bargain you expect.Any decent cars at auction can end up getting high bids, unless a trader has a deal with the auctioneer(it does go on)..Then you have to think apart from the proper trade only auctions why are they at auction ?
webuyanycar are a joke...ive used them 3 times to get quotes - just for curiosity - and all 3 times they offered less than half what the car was actually worth...
We buy any car wouldn`t even make an offer on my peupgeot 307.
Car auctions are, well, errr, auctions....

The sellers can set a reserve so the car can not be sold below that figure, but there is no upper figure, if two people decided they really wanted a particular car and got in a bidding war then it could go for well above market value (though obviously it would either have to be a special car, or silly people for that to happen)
it does happen though, usually the general public getting over keen..
You also have a service charge to pay at auction to ensure the car is legal and no finance on it etc. This is a lot higher for private buyers than for traders.
I put my car details in to we buy any car, they offered me £3.900 for a car that is worth £8.000.
they offerred half what you think it's worth joko. Most people get ripped off when they buy a car so have an inflated opinion of it's value when they want to sell it. I did a valuation of my car as an experiment and they said it was worth 78% of what I'd paid a year ago.
