I need to fit some new number plates to my Clio. The plate on the rear appears to be glued on. What is the best way to remove it - it fees like it will damage the body when I pull it! Dave.

Number plates are often stuck on with those double sided sticky foam pads. Firm but steady pressure will eventually tear the foam. A hair drier, patience and long figerails will coax the remaing bit of the pad from your car. Alternatively you can use the same pads to stick your new plate onto the top of your old one.
