Does anyone out there have any good or bad points about a Toyota Prius.I am thinking of getting one,but want to research it first as I am not at all sure!
Are there any ways of seeing if the battery is good or bad when you go to test drive one?How much for a new one(battery that is)?
Any personal experiences you would like to share with me(and the world)

You will look like a prat, run over lots of kids, and anyone who remotely likes cars will hate you. Other than that, they're made by Toyota so will probably crash and kill you.

my sister in law has one and loves it, though she says she has to be very very careful at slow speeds as people dont hear it coming (it seems no-one looks before crossing roads anymore)

Thanks all,I do kind of like the idea of being quiet for a change,diesels are just a bit too noisey!

the last time i checked the price of one of these batteries it was in excess of £7,000 !!
but from what i can remember it has a very long gurantee possibly lifetime..
