i would say the BP Ultimate, i use that in my clio sport. or any super unleaded.
A fuel that doesn't have a low sulphur content.  By removing the sulphur they have reduced the calorific value of the fuel making it less efficient and increasing your car's fuel consumption.  Having said that its increasingly difficult to find a petrol that doesn't have a low sulphur content so I have to say that Shell is the best as it gives the best performance at the moment.  Texaco being the worst.
DONT believe the hype. the shell refinery near me has approx 650 trucks in and out per day. shell, texaco, bp, asda, sainsburys you name it. petrol diesel. only product that seems to be exclusive is aviation fuel. so the answer is they are all the same. oil companies cannot make claims about the product they sell being better than others, hence we get optimax, ultimate and so on. looking after the trucks that deliver the stuff, i notice that the more expensive grades actually cause corrosion to the tanker's equipment. lead free? yes but the lead is replaced with benzine, which is carcongenic...
the cheapest you can buy lol
