I have had since new.You know your car afterf this time and after an annual service I felt that it was wanting to change down a ratio to easily.a slight touch on accelerater and change is noticed.it was not as easily done before. the kick down is as normal.could the fluid level be a problem.when should it be checked.ie engine running or stopped.

doubt it will be anything to do with fluid levels.

Auto gearbox kick down is most often controlled by a sensor on the throttle linkage telling the box to change down if you press the accelerator past a certain point.
