I wouldnt have thought so, the AA would be called if you had no access at all to the vehicle.

yes i did think it might be a bit cheeky
Hmmm, I dont see why they wouldn't do callouts like this, for instance, if, hypothetically you were disabled but were able to drive but unable to climb over the passenger seat to get to the drivers side then you cannot go anywhere, so technically you have broken down. However i dont know whether or not AA just do engines. Try there website, it might give you some idea of what they actually cover you for. Hope you get it sorted soon.
might seem a bit far fetched i know (my example that is lol) but give it a try, whats the worst that can happen?

ah, just thought of another idea, MX5 - Convertible, leave the roof down and climb in and out like in those american films. :)

have even done that benny bit nippy with the roof down though
well put it up when you drive then, just use it like a door. a door that you leave open when ur not inside the car.
Is this mechanical or is the door frozen up?
Question Author
i first thought it was frozen when i went to get into it yesterday morning after a hard frost, but now i seem to think its mechanical the lock turns ok it just cant be pulled open.
