escort mk6 doors wont open

i have a mk6 ford escort 1997 and it wont let me unlock the front doors from the outside or inside and i cant get the doors open 2 have a look at the lock barrel what do u think could be wrong with it i am also needing a stereo code for ford escort 6000 cd player

there is a possibility there is a locking rod that has dropped off inside the door mechanism, from the inside of the car take off the door handle etc, unclip the door card & see if you can see the connecting rods, regards car codes, I do not give these out ( No offence ment )
