car scratched, how much is a touchup/respray??

Hi,

I scratched someones car today, just a few about 5-6 one/two inch scratches, no dent or anything, on the wheel arch....can any one give me an estimate of how much I can expect to pay for this to be touched up??

I just dont want them trying to charge loads extra.

umm not sure, yeh i think it might have been metallic. not sure bout the make...does this make a big difference then? it was a small runaround type and didnt look expensive...

Chips away or similar, about £50 to £70.

Are you sure they are scraches and not just marks LIKE scratches if they are they will rub out with a light rubbing compound you can buy this at any Halfords about a Fiver.

cheers all, they called and said to forget it, they will sort it...obviously minor scratches
