Can anyone recommend a temporary car insurance company??

need cover for just a week, but theres loads online to wade through ... or does anyone know of a compare site that includes temp cover?

ive just tried one site and the amount was half my annual premium!!
i only need it because there was a mix up in the dates i put in for my new cover - it was the date it came out the bank, not the date the policy ended...so i am uninsured for a week!

i tried to get them to alter the date, but they said they can't and all i can do is cancel the policy and DD and start a new one...which is just a pain...ah well looks like thats the only way
