anyone know of a site where you can put the make, model, year of car and what repair you need and it can give you an average estimate of a repair cost?

Hi, in short, NO.
there may be unseen damage to the repair that cannot be quoted until the car / van has been seen / inspected otherwise the repairer will be quoting for something that could later on in the repair cost him a lot more money.

the only systems that allow this are used by the repairers themselves and the information is entrered by a qualified estimator/engineer , and even they can get it wrong.
Most repairers are offering free estimates at the moment as generally work is a bit scarce you are not committing to an insurance claim if thats what you are concerned about.
