Is it worth cutting the engine at traffic lights , or do you use more fuel starting the engine than you save idling?

depends on how long you are waiting for the traffic lights to change, or traffic jam to start moving.

I'm not thinking of saving money - I'm thinking of saving emissions. The less petrol I use, the less pollution.
