car battery went flat and when i got a jump its lost the radio code i have all the service history but not the red vauxhall card with the code on it

if vauxhall dont have it then looks like youll need to buy a new one.
How old is your car? If its younger than 10 years try Vauxhall, they may have it on their systems.

There are a number of sources for the radio code - you can try the original dealer (look in service book) or get someone to decipher the code from the radio's serial number (using a special computer programme). You will find links to the various Vauxhall owners/drivers clubs forums in my answer above - they can help with the latter.
