the milage display has gone off my renault scenic 1996 r reg its just blank..also the display where the time and temp is also is faulty and works when it feels like its blank now but works other days????

This points to a Electrical connection problem Anthony, Is it pos for you to gain access to the connecting plug? If so, drop a bit of WD40 into the connecting male/females.
