problem with garage

i have just taken my car for mot and new track rod end (s type Jaguar) 1 day later i was driving on the moterway and the plastic apron that covers underneath flew off!!!
my question is ;;;; do they need to remove this to do mot or replace track rod end? thanks folks

wouldnt remove it for MOT, but theres a strong possibility it may for replacing TR ends.
