In 1968 i passed my motorbike test and have had bikes up until 14 years ago,i renewed my HGV Licence in 1998 and did not notice in the classes that the DVLA had omitted to include my Bike licence,when i rang them they said they have no record of me passing my test so i said what about the licence i returned for renewal,they said they did not keep them,i can remember the date and wherei took my test and also the time but they are not interested,where do i go from here any advice please

this happened to a few people some years back they had to retake their motorcycle test.
your best bet is to get on the Motorcycle News , MCN website, some of the bikers on there may be able to help

if you can remember the date and wherei you took the test . can you not contact the test centre for help. do they not keep a record ?

Already done that and they told me to contact the DVLA as all records are kept there,well nearly all

Most employers of HGV drivers demand to photocopy their driver's licences regularly.

Ask your employer if they still have a copy of your licence showing the previous entitlement.
Oh sorry, I just re-read your question, and realise you lost the entitlement in 1998. Too long ago I guess.
