Could please anyone help me how to save movie clips I took with my digital camera to DVD so that I can watch them on any DVD players.

Some of my movie clips are in AVI format and and some are MPEG format (they were taken from 2 cameras).

I have programme on my computer "Drag'n Drop CD+DVD" but I don't know how to use it to transfer movie clips onto DVD. I know how to transfer movie clips to CD but when I tried to transfer to DVD, it said wrong data format for both AVI and MPEG. I want to save on DVD so that I don't end up keeping various movie clips on few CDs because the total size of movie clips I have just under 4GB.

Please help me.

Thanks.

For avi and mpeg files, you need to convert them to play on a dvd player. this is a free converter.

What format will they be converted to ? And after I convert then, will I be able to to transfer them to blank DVD and is there any special programme for my computer to transfer the movie files to blank DVD?
They will be converted to dvd format, as far as I know. It`s ages since I used sothink, but if I remember it converts , then burns to DVD using your burning software, such as Nero.
Obviously you need to have some burning software on your pc.
Do you have Nero or some other software for burning? If not I think there are free ones that you can download.
installed the dvd writer software in your computer .

open the software as nero burn and select the format of the data and than select the data .'
put the blank dvd into the writer and click on the software to burn the dvd.

when the data will write in the dvd .

the tray of the dvd will come out open .

first of all you have a dvd writer and a blank dvd

I have nero 6, I don`t think this version, or nero 7 essentials will convert avi files to dvd, to play in a normal dvd player.
