Any one know of a website that will tell you the exact month and year a vehicle was registered from the registration number. I am talking pre 1963 here.

This shows you from 1963 onwards - as prior to this the reg did not indicate the year at all:

I am sure the DVLA enquiry line could answer a specific question though if it was a one-off one you wanted to know.... but the following page allow you to do an on line enquiry but not sure if this will give you details prior to 1963, but worth trying:

Not a website, but most are in this book. Yes expensive, but a lot of research went into it!

i own a 1963 morris traveller i restored DVLA charge �5.00 for a total History of your vehicle but has to have the original reg plate but it took one year they had to search there old arcives well worth the wait to see the very first owner or you can go on DVLA and do an online Vehicle check just put your reg number .hope this helps good luck
