when im slowing for a junction my brake pedal does not go down smoothly and feels like im goin over a hundred speed bumps and then the steering wheel starts to shake what could the problem be

Imbalance on your brakes Disks// pads, Also depending on your speed approaching to the lights ABS, but that would not effect your steering, but I would go with my first answer.
TWR is right, but you don't tell us what make and model of car it is, some hyundai models suffer from snapped ABS rings and they give the exact fault your desxribing
defo a warped disc in the front no question of it
Joeb is right. Get new discs. Don't let anybody talk you into having them skimmed. And discs are easy to replace
