leak in sun roof - affects radio signal?

I bought a cd radio for my car only about a month ago - it was working perfectly. Suddenly it's gone weird on me - it comes on, lights up but reception on all stations is erratic - in a 10 mile journey I hear about 3 minutes of the radio.

I do have a leak in my sunroof - could this have affected the ariel? COuld it have got into the workings of the radio somehow? Any ideas?
