Flash normally occurs at the start and end of the road lines, so if you turned off before the last line the calibration would be incomplete and you should be ok, but cameras aren't usually placed opposite junctions, are they. Otherwise it's a case of wait and see !
There are different types of speed cameras (some of which don't flash at all) but a conventional Gatso camera produces a rapid double flash. The purpose is to take two photographs, at a fixed time apart, from which the vehicle's speed can be calculated (by reference to the lines on the road). I've sometimes seen apparent flashes in my mirrors, only to realise that I've probably actually seen the sun glinting through the trees (or reflected off the surface of a following vehicle). I doubt that you've got anything to worry about.

i hope so! I know the speed cameras there, its been there longer than ive lived here which is about 8years now!

Is there a expiry date on recieving the fine and points through the post etc??
You must be sent a Notice of Intended Prosecution so that in normal circumstances it would arrive within 14 days of the alleged offence.
if you are sure you where doing <30 then even if it took the pictures they will exonerate you. If you get an NIP then ask for the "evidence" and calculate it yourself. I doubt anything will happen though.
Speed camera flashes twice at a 0.8 second interval. It is nothing to do with start and end of lines. As above, the two pics are compared an the calculation is made on your speed (s=d/t). You have nothing to worry about if you were within speed limit.
