what is the life expectancy of the original exhaust system?my wifes yaris has done 90,000miles @is 9years old is it possible for it to have the original system?

dont see why not , i have a 11 year old xj6, and its exhaust is still the original., although i think it will need replacing in the next 2 years

My Toyota with a V6 engine and often driven hard went past 150000 without visible wear signs.
Yes you can get origanal system from dealerships.

the life expentancy of an exhaust system depends on how the car is used.

If it is used mainly for short journeys and/or not used often they will not last very long as the system will never get fully hot enough to dry any water out that's in the system.

A car that is used every day and does a decent length journey every day the system could last years
