I am considering purchasing a eco-friendly car, such as the above.

Do you have one and are you pleased with it?

I would not have considered the Toyota Aygo to be very eco friendly.

You would also struggle to get anything in its piddly boot space.

If its not eco-friendly, why is the road tax only 35 per year and it is supposed to do around 60 mpg?
My clio 1.5 dci 85bhp is great and 35 tax a year cheap insurance, nippy and has boot space.
I also usually get around 65mpg fill it up for 48 and get just under 600 miles.

Thank you Donna for your helpful and sensible reply. That's another one to consider! Happy motoring..........
It's in emissions / tax band B so therefore still is not eco friendly or it would be in band A.

A more eco friendly car would be a hybrid or powered by electricity or hydrogen. Of course charging an electric powered vehicle would be using fossil fuels but personally I would use a solar powered charging station.

Question Author
Yes I do realise it is not the MOST eco-friendly, but these type of cars are probably the best of the rest - tax band B will suit me fine.
