i failed my second driving test, but i feel i pretty sure what the examiner expects, so im thinking to practice on my friend's car to save the driving lessons cost. what i need do if i want using my friend's car to practice? i know he has to sit in the car with me, apart that whatelse? like insurance etc.?thanks

insurance, somebody who has passed their test more than 3years ago and is over 21 and L plates

thanks chunk, where i can buy the red L? and do i need insurance or my friend need insurance me to drive his car? cheers
your friend needs to pay his insurers to get you added, this may not be cheap!

The red L plates can be bought in any car parts store (halfords for one) and many forecourt shops.
I wouldn't recommend that mind!

You'll end up used to your friends car and find your instructors car more difficult to drive when you're on your actual test.
