read your manual.
it does use more `petrol than without it.
so use it in moderation.
thats my advice.

yeah it does my kids moan at me im to tight to use my air con ...i would rather have my windows open ..
yes it does, depending on the age of the car and the type of compresser used for the AC the amount varies though.

however generally speaking on modern cars your AC will increase your fuel consumption less than having a window open to keep cool which increases drag.

so stick the AC on and leave the windows shut
