I have asked this before but didn't get the answer I wanted.

This car hasn't been tested by Euro N Cap.

It's got airbags and seat belt pretensioners and strengthened side panels but I want to know how safe it is compared to say a clio or a ka

I doubt there is much safety within one of those cars.

You're better off with a Clio as I've seen a Ka that got rear ended by a lorry and although the newspaper report said the driver was ok, any rear passengers would have had head injuries as the back window is close to the back of heads.

How about a Honda Jazz or something?
Make up your own mind by reading this report........

It sounds quite good though there are one or two scathing points.

It has 3 stars for safety which is quite good, cars of this size cannot realy get any higher. At least it has 2 airbags!

It should eventually get an ncap rating.

Thanks dudes!

My nan bought me a perodua kelisa in Jan this year. I think its a really cute cool car. The only things I don't like about it is its really basic inside and I worry about the safety of it.
Therefore I am currently advertising it. However, if I could be reassured that it is just as safe as say a clio or peugeot then I would def keep it. But I don't think it is.
