My M-reg Nissan Micra keeps cutting out. It only happens when I have to slow down and go into a lower gear and it happens when I have been driving for about 30 mins or so. For example I was slowing down for some lights the other day and it just cut out and it took me about a minute to start up again.
It has just passed its MOT with flying colours and it was in the garage about 3 times previous but they couldn't find a fault. Does anyone have a clue as to what it might be?

my daughter had a similar fault on her micra. we couldn't find it. eventually i found the lead from the battery had corroded inside its plastic covering so it wasn't visible. it had turned to green dust. ( it was within four inches of the terminal )
i just cut the wire & soldered a new lenth in place and it was right as rain after.
