what documents are required for a replacement plate we have been told u need a phototype driving licence I HAVE NETHER A PASSPORT OR NEW TYPE OF LCENCE WHAT DO I DO

If you buy them on line then you dont need any of that.

I usually do and did have a link to the site where I get them from but cant find it now.

If you are know to the person in your local spares shop, No problem, Other than that, Log book, Your ID, it is only to stop theft. TWR
Your old-style paper licence is perfectly acceptable on its own.

if you have a new-style licence, you are supposed to take both the photocard and the paper counterpart, but if you still have an old license, that is fine on its own.

You also need to take the logbook with you, or some other document to prove your entitlement to the registration mark.

Thanks for all the help on this subject we were able to obtain plate as suggested thanks again
people who sell replacement plates are supposed to see evidence that you have a direct and valid interest in that vehicle butvery rarely in my experience has any paperworkhad to b produced
