engine light on 03 jag help

my x type jag went in for new clutch it came out with engine light on its stayed on and now 2 months later the car has strated to joult every now and then at 3ooo revs what could the prob be and will it be expensive?????
help me please

take it back to the garage who fitted the clutch.

I hade a similiar problem on a honda civic type r. First the dealers thought it was the air filter they managed to get the light off only for it to come back on when pushed hard. After a couple of days in the garage they found it to be the one of the oxygen sensors. It cost �600 pounds to fix. It needs to be put on a computer to find out the problem. And its a jag so make sure whoever looks at it knows what they are doin.
