Has anyone done this task ??? If so, how long did it take & can you give any pointers ? Because I am not willing to pay nearly 600 pounds in a main dealer workshop.

Why go to a main dealer?

you dont give an engine size?? some of these need special tools as they have adjustable timing pulleys
