Been browsing for a new car and have seen a georgeous P reg, low mileage mini cooper in the local paper. Having never had a mini before and having trouble finding out much on the internet. perhpas Ilm using the wrong search words. What are the pros and cons? Are they reliable? I occassionally drive to Wales and back along the motorway. That's 300 miles return trip. but mainly I travel to and from work and nothing too major. I have no kids to squeeze in.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I have been very lucky over the years with my Toyota which just keeps going.

If you an estate agent then go ahead.

If not my own opinion is they look awful, are a poor mans BMW and are as cool as Shakin Stevens.

Buy an original mini. Uber-cool and will hold its value.

ACTUALLY IT IS NOT A COOPER. I TAKE THAT BACK. It has a mini cooper grille. Perhaps that's the only Cooper part about it. It's 1295CC and a P reg.
