hi all, im having a couple of problems with my vauxhall astra, its a 99 T reg 1.6 petrol. first problem im having is the front wipers, when their on internedtiate they only go half way and stop rather than the full rotation, theirs is nothing physicaly in the way? does anyone have any answers please? second problem im having is, 2 days ago i changed my rear brake light but now wen my lights are on for night driving all the rear brake lights are staying on and no normal lights? their are no other bulbs broke and ve checked the fuses all seems fine? any clues?please

renew the blades on your wipers and get the earth connections on you lights checked out.
take out the bulb that you replaced & try the lights again without it fitted,
you may have been supplied/selected the wrong bulb-
there are many variants with offset pins & stagger as well
as filaments
Fault with the wiper lies within the wiper motor there is a run on contact so that they only park when the arc is complete - yours is faulty - probably not repairable - best get one from a breakers yard.
