battery wont hold charge

i have just had a new clutch fitted but when i started the car the battery light comes on and other icons on the dash to say theres a problem it is draining the battery fast we have tested the battery and the alternater and the y are fine.

check the regulator hasn't been disturbed. check fuses inside. If no luck disconnect terminals when u switch car off.
This sounds a problem with a charging circuit. If the car has just been into a garage, maybe someone has not put all the leads back on correctly. You say you've checked the alternator, but your symptoms mean that the battery is not being charged.
most cars have an earth lead/strap which is bolted onto the gear box which has probably been removed in order to get access to the clutch. make sure this is tight as it would cause the problems you describe.
