In terms of diameter , what size are the standard front speakers in my 1997 golf ? I'd like to upgrade with some higher wattage , but i see all manner of speaker sizes available. Thanksfor any replies

take the old ones out and measure them,then you will be sure of the size.

Thanks for advice, the reason i was asking was that my car was being repaired at the time of posting the question, so I asked to sort out speakers to save time, thanks anyway. LOL
