HELP! the 'serv' light on the dashboard has come on, also the airbag light has lit up. the garage which has just done the service are unable to solve the problem. the lights were on before the car went in for a service. the only thing left i've been told is to take the car to the main renault dealer - this will obviously cost. is anyone able to help please. the car is a o2 plate renault clio 1.2. thanks.

Take it to a dealer, it's worth the additional cost. If the airbag has failed (which it sounds like) and you don't get it sorted, you'll regret it if you need it.
My timing belt light has been lit up now for 3 months...I`ve been told even when a new belt has been fitted the warning light will still show and the dashboard has to be dismantled to reset it
The service light has come on only because you have a fault in the airbag system, this is usually down to the electrical connections under the front seats.
