When I 'dead' lock the central locking, the 20amp fuse blows. I've urgraded the fuse to a 25 amp and it does the same. Any ideas?

its very likely one of the solenoids that control the locks( one for each lock) has burnt out /or siezed this in turn will be putting excess load on the circuit which is protected by......the fuse when you try to lock it will pop the fuse, not a bad job to do,will you be having a bash at diy if so get yourself to the breakers for bits there should be plenty of bits for these at a good price .

eggobako - Thanks for that. I also thought that it might be something to do with the wiring loom perhaps. Too much for me, so it might be a trip to the spark to see if he can sort it out. Thanks for the info, regards
Have you just done any work on your car just prior to the fault occuring?
I ask this as maybe you have trapped & shorted a wire.

No I haven't done any work on the car. It just started to happen when I dead locked the car once. I thought it might be a glitch, so I changed the fuse and it did it again. IF I just lock the doors with the blipper, the fuse is OK, it's just when I dead lock it.
