between 10 and 1,000 000
depeds where you go to have it serviced if you go to your friendly vw "stealership" they will bill you about200-300 plus parts if you go to your friendly independant it will be probably less than half that and will be just as good a job you could be really picky and insist the independant use genuine vw bits ,at 60 k its going to want the cambelt renewing get this done now as it re
ally is pricey if you have the belt fail (we are talking mega bucks for repairs) get the water pump done at the same time as its a pain to do at a later date andi will only put 25 quid on top of the bill if you have the cambelt done at a vw dealer this job alone is 275approx! so try ringing around is it a tdi or perol by the way ? if its a vr6 or other hotted up golf then just throw your cheque book at them !!
Hi Zizi,

I got my 2001 Golf serviced for a 119 last month, but min only had 50k on the clock. The price depends on which year yours is.

I got mine done through Prestige car servicing, pretty good although they did pick up the car 1 hour later then they said they would! http://www.prestigecarservicing.com/volkswagen service.html
