Drving without due care?

I was driving home last night. When I got to a junction of a main road, I looked both ways then started turning left. As I just left the junction a cyclist collided with me. He was alert and an ambulance was called. He appeared to have just bruised his left side. There was no damage to my car and just the light had fallen off his bike.

The police arrived on the scene and I was cautioned with 'driving without due care and attention'. There were no witnesses or cameras.

Can anyone tell me what is likely to happen next, and if this is taken further what the likely outcome is.

3-9 points for driving without due care and attention, possibly a fine, if found guilty.

You will also get a bill for the ambulance as standard practice.
