I may have been caught by a speed camera recently, and I'm curious about Enterprise's policy. My understand is that the ticket comes from them and not the police. They tend to add an admin fee. However, because they pay ticket and charge the customer extra, the police don't end up getting your license info.

When I hired cars through my company, Enterprise never even saw my license or had it on file, and I know our company received a fine or two a year from speedy employees.

So my conclusion is that enterprise makes money off your ticket but by doing so disconnects you from the police.

Is this correct?

NO, what usually happens if you get caught on camera is,the car hire company will get the PCN as the owner of the car, then the car hire company will fill in the PCN notice, with either yours or your companies details,it is then sent back to the police, then re-issued to you or the company, either way it will reach you in the end,so you wont get away with it.
It would be illegal for any car hire company to do this - the law requires they supply the driver details so that the points can be put on the licence.

So NormantheDo is quite correct - it will catch up with you.
