Horrid moths

I am finding 2 or 3 horrid little brown moths (not the pretty variety) in my house every night. I kill them (sorry) but somehow there are always more the next day. I sometimes have a window open a bit. I am really worried about infestation as I do have a lot of clothes/bags of clothes/wardrobes etc.
How can I tell if this is a problem, and what can I do about it?

i put fly papers up (SORRY) rather than use spray.if ya put the papers in different parts of your room you may get better idea where they come from
