Don't they annoy you??
Where there is limited parking spaces, these idiots take up 2 spaces.
Why cannot they park closer to the car in front or in their allocated space? Cannot they see they are taking up too much room???
Grrrr.
I am only annoyed because I have just come back from shopping after driving round and round, wasting time tyring to squeeze in my car somewhere!!!

Hi I bet most of them are 4x4s i am a disabled person and realy annoys me too to see 4x4s parked in disabled bays and it makes matters worse to see blue badges on there windscreen (DISABLED DRIVER ) disabled driver my ***** if they are disabled how on earth can they climb up into one of these monster trucks .i have dificulty getting into my ordinary yarris .please dont get mad when you see these idiots parked you might scratch there beloved 4 x 4 ????
If thats all that annoys you you are very lucky, I have hardly seen any in our local Tescos.
me me me! im one and proud of it !if you go to any corner of a car park some half wit will come and park next to you ,do you want kids opening doors onto your nice car?i dont thank you ,do you want people squeezing into a gap that is only a foot wide i dont ,i park in a space and i guarantee i will come back and there will be a car next to mine no matter how much room there is in the car park so now i just park my car on the whiteline so at least it prevents the lemmings parking a fag papers width away, i never park in disabled spaces i never park in mother and toddler places but what gets me is when you catch someone damaging your car with an opening door or squeezing through with shopping the answer..".its only a car" . no its not its MY car and you have just damaged it !!!
I shop in Tesco, and there are 20 mother and child bays, and a similar number of handicapped spaces. I shop on Saturday morning, and have made a point of observing their usage. I have never - never - seen any of the handicapped spaces being used, and on average 2 of the mother/child ones are. So I park in the mother/child bay now, loads of space, and no guilt.

I sincerely hope the next time you park across two bays, someone keys your car, or the supermarket staff clamp it as they do in my local Asda's. :)

It'd serve you right for being greedy and inconsiderate.
Right.

How dare you assume that all disable people are physically disabled to the point of not being able to get in a car!

Not all disabled people are completely lame!

My best friend has a disabled badge. She suffers from Cystic Fibrosis. If you dont know what it is then look it up.

But going by your previous comment should i tell her that she is not allowed a blue badge because she is not disabled enough???

I hate narrow minded idiots who have no idea what they are talking about more than i do selfish parkers!

It's annoying but don't forget that the "idiot" parked badly might have been forced to do so due to the bad parking of previous vehicles and it's the only space they could find. However, I do agree that there are total idiots out there who are very selfish.

I have an old car and so I just park "normally" even if it means they can only open their door by 6 inches.

Perhaps parking "squarely" in a parking space should be part of the driving test.
Well, I always try to park beside cars that look as if their owners are careful such as newer ones or at least very clean ones. They prob don't want theirs damaged too. Also look out for cars with baby seats, toys, rubbish, stupid stickers, damage to bodywork, work vans, 2 door cars (the doors are usually bigger and swing out further) and avoid them like the plague. I had my car 2 weeks and got it scratched by an idiot, of course they waited until I came and offered me cash to......hang on, they didn't, they naffed off. I know it was a red car due to the paint they left streaked on mine.
rojam, firstly its very rude to hope that someone would key my car thats not nice is it! but in your defence are you saying you know people that do this, does this make you proud? i am happy to say i dont mix with people like that secondly i dont shop at asdas as its a little on the " rough side of town"!
eggobacko, firstly it's very rude and inconsiderate for you to freely admit that you'd take up two parking spaces and then have the audacity to admit you're proud of it.
Proud of being a moron perhaps?
If you're that worried about people damaging your car, buy one that fits in a bay or get a bus when you go shopping.
Park and ride a little below you is it?
As Asda's is "a little on the rough side of town" for you we can see exactly what sort of person you are.
"Look at my big shiny car, I'll park it how I like and to hell with the rest of you, go and park at Asda's with all the riff raff".
Secondly it's very rude of you to assume that I know anyone who does key cars, I have seen cars that have been keyed for this reason, I work for an accident repair company.
I think you'll find if you park across two spaces in a municipal car park, you are actually running the risk of being fined. Many supermarkets actually display signs saying to keep within the bays.
Does this not apply to you, or are you special in some way as you have a big car?
You reap what you sew.
oooh a raw nerve !, i park as i do because i dont want my vehicle damaged by morons parking too close and then opening doors ,squeezing through etc if people dont like it tough ,park somewhere else if i cant find a place i like i will go somewhere else thats tough on me isnt it ,dont forget supermarkets dont make the spaces so small by accident its to get more cars in ,im not likely to park in municipal car parks when i can park outside someones house for free in a nearby side street i only drive a small car by the way but im not going to have it damaged by some one parking two inches away. p.s you know i may do this park and ride thing you speak of it sounds quaint besides its getting tiresome being bothered by those car cleaners every time i go for some winep.p/s its sow not sew!
eggobacko
You really are a prize clown.
You drive a small car but use big car mentality.
I reckon the real problem is you're just crap at parking, and you can't manage to get it in the middle of the lines.
Pardon me for making a spelling mistake, if we're going to be picky...........
I'm is spelt with a capital I, not a small i, and usually has an apostrophe.
A comma is placed after the last letter of the sentence, not before the next letter of the following sentence.
What's a winep? You've got me there!
Good grief funnygirl!! You really set the boys off didn't you lol!!

Tell me about it!
youre right i cant park to save my life but i dont need to as i always make sure i can find a big gap by parking in two spaces! winep.. oh come on now thats wine have you no imagination or sense of humour!id have thought youd have recognised a wind up ,you need to lighten up, the important thing is that you realise all the whinging isnt going to stop me parking the way i do, i cant be a clown as i am not that good with big shoes or a flower thats shoots water and i hate pink afro wigs i do object to the last statement from jules p ..who saidabout "setting the boys off" ....who said i was a male? roll up rollup!!
no ones pointed out that some cars are bigger than others and car park spaces just stay the same size or get smaller!! especially the 'paid for' car parks, they'll cram as many 'spaces' in as possible to get the most amount of money!

ps. i don't drive. or park!
Aha, a woman driver, that explains everything. (big winky smiley)
*waits for irate women to tell me how good they are*
Question Author
Well we are.
We are more considerate on the road.
We don't race along at 100mph
We observe road signs
We indicate
And we can park properly!!!!!!!!
There.
There are good drivers and bad drivers be they men or women it doesn't matter, but in all honesty from my own observation most women can't park to save their lives.
hmmm .says a lot doesnt it ""my own observation" are you in the habit of observing women,? parking or otherwise !sounds a bit creepy to me !
