My daughters car had a problem just as it's tax renewal came up so we SORNed. Now it is ok ( I hope) and want to MOT it. How can I legally drive it to the garage? My undertanding is that it will be required to be insured in it's own right. ( a recent change in the law meaning that I can't drive it on my insurance). I'd really rather know if it was going to pass it's MOT before insuring it and I can't tax it without an MOT.
