I am fully comp on a work van, does anybody know if this covers me to drive other vehicles 3rd party (ie. cani drive my parents car), in the same way normal car insurance works......

Is this your own insurance or is it insurance bought by the company that allows you to drive their van? If the latter than very unlikely!! If your own then you will have to read the policy!!
Note as well that the facility to drive any car with the owners permission has been widely withdrawn by many insurers over the last few years or added on as an optional extra.

There have been a number of cases where people who thought they were coverred in this way were not and were prosecuted.

It's far from "Normal" you have to check.

I pay an extra �30 a year for it
if its work insurance the no. but if its your insurance still no because its commercial insurance and only intitles you to drive other vans not cars as far as i know
