Petrol Consumption - Peugeot 206

I am running a 53 plate 206 Auto and have averaged about 33mpg covering 2 trips of 100 miles each on A1M plus local running about.
Is this reasonable?

what engine size is it?

it sounds like a low mpg compared to a 2.0L manual which i had that ran at around 46mpg on mixed driving.
